The adjustable terahertz source 150GHz THzsource 140 to 155 GHz is TeraSense's new adjustable terahertz source series TeraSmart, based on broadband Schottky diode multiplier chains. Currently, three models are available for selection, covering frequency ranges of 70-77 GHz, 140-155 GHz, and 280-310 GHz. The average output power level of TeraSmart power supplies reaching several hundred mW is the best choice between tunability and output power on the market. The TeraSmart generator has two interrelated modules, including a 10-11 GHz synthesizer and a transmitter. In fact, TeraSmart is a fully integrated plug and play system that can be remotely controlled through a user-friendly software interface. This THz adjustable wave source is controlled through ASCII text commands transmitted via USB. In addition to providing software packages, it also includes open source code for the LabView version. In addition, appropriate output horn antennas can be provided as optional additional components for each device model.
